You didn't think we'd turn 1 without a dance party, did you?!

If you have joined us for past events, prepare yourself for one that is twice as long and 100 times as glam. This is NOT the format for our standard monthly event series.

Show up to Basic Kitchen in your party clothes! Upon arrival, there will be small plates of beautiful, healthy food from the Charleston-famous hot spot, and you'll be ushered to the back patio with your signature cocktail. Under the twinkling lights out back, snuggled among lush palms, you'll find Society-approved pop-up vendors to glam you up before you're ready for the dance floor. Organic, sustainably sourced (and BK-approved) bubbly, generously sponsored by The Woodhouse Day Spa, will be flowing all night, along with a limited cash bar.

Our “Honest Conversation” + Q&A with guest panelists, Jessica Murnane (Creator, One Part Plant movement) and Kate Towill (co-owner, Basic Projects), will begin at 6:45 and last about an hour. Gervase will interview these successful mamas about what it REALLY takes to balance an inspiring career and motherhood in her signature real coaching style. You will have an active role in this conversation if you desire it (Gervase will be accepting questions ahead of time via email), whether to share your story or just soak up all the wisdom bombs dropped by amazing women in the room.

Then, refill your drinks and grab another bite on the back patio while we flip the room for Phase 2. Be prepared to dance your face off to amazing tunes served up by one of Charleston's hottest DJ's, Samira Miche', aka SISTA MISSES, in an epic dance party with your #tribe.

There WILL be late-night surprises and surprise guests (!!!). Prepare yourself. This is not your kids' birthday party.

Women in all stages of mothering, from SAHMs to CEOs are invited! Not a mom? You’re always welcome, and this WILL be a discussion focused on the behind-the-scenes juggling act of real moms doin' the damn thang. #thejuggleisreal You do NOT have to be a member to purchase a ticket; Coupon codes for The Champagne Society members.

Fill your cup.

Have some fun.

Remember you're not the "only one."

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Charleston's Center for Women. The Center educates and advocates for all women in the Greater Charleston area so that they are empowered to achieve economic success and leadership in their professional and personal lives and communities.

PSA: This will NOT be your traditional “Mom’s Night Out.” You’ve been warned. Dress to impress!

PSA #2: As this is an adult audience, there will likely be some adult language. If this offends you, this may not be the event for you.

I’m not a mom. Am I welcome here?

ALL women (sorry, boys!) are welcome at Champagne Society events, whether you are mothers at any stage or not. That being said, the focus of this event WILL be on the unique balancing act mothers experience in all areas of their lives, but the wisdom shared will easily apply to women in all stages of life.

Can I come alone?

The Society is so super friendly, so YES, if you can’t find a wing woman, just bring your fabulous self and walk right up to Gervase or the first mama you see and introduce yourself! It’s such good practice in making yourself super uncomfortable in the name of saying YES to new experiences that you thank yourself for later. Promise.

Why is this more expensive than the monthly events?

This event is 4 hours long, provides food, a signature cocktail, endless champagne, authentic and high-level mom meeting and biz networking, plus an interview/coaching conversation to motivate and inspire you to go home more connected to yourself, other women and your full potential. The costs of this venue are far above our typical costs and it is all organized and managed by full-time solopreneur, G (hey, guys!). My dream for you is to have THE ultimate girls' night out that is glam AF but also soul-filling and connecting. This is the price that allows me to do exactly that and then some. I hope you gift this experience to yourself!

What should I wear?

This is NOT your typical Moms’ Night Out. Dress to impress. We don’t have enough excuses to get (and feel!) glam in our daily lives, so heels, jewelry, lipstick, dresses, etc are welcome! That being said, whatever you feel comfortable in! If you are a heels, jeans and jewelry kind of gal, that works! It ALL belongs in this society. You can find pictures from our past event on a scrolling bar at the top of this page. I know, I know – it’s SO stressful when someone forces you to MAKE time to go shopping for YOU to find something you feel fabulous in for a super special night out. You can thank us later!

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No. If there are still tickets available, you can buy yours at the link above and THEN run out the door, but every event since October has sold out, so buy your tickets ASAP so you’re not caught on our waiting list kicking yourself! I know . . . it’s hard to commit. I get it. Your call, but you’re going to have massive FOMO. Just sayin’.

Should I eat dinner before I come?

This is not a dinner, per se, but no corners have been cut to ensure you have plenty of heavy appetizers (BK-style) to choose from, passed all night long!

Is there an afterparty?

Since this event runs much longer than our standard events, we haven't set up an official afterparty, but feel free to keep the party going elsewhere late night!

Should I drive or Uber?

Uber or carpooling with friends coming from the same area is highly encouraged so you can really enjoy yourself and not worry about logistics! There is a parking garage on Wentworth Street across from Basic Kitchen, and after this 4-hour birthday party, you will likely not want to drive home. :)

I bought a ticket, but now I can’t make it. Can I get a refund?

Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferrable! Post in the Facebook event and you can sell your ticket directly to another mama, or gift it to a friend. However you choose to transfer your ticket is fine with us! Just have the new ticket-holder give YOUR name at the door and you and your ticket buyer can work out Venmo transfers, etc.

I bought a ticket and received an email confirmation. Do I need to show that at the door?

If you received an email confirmation, rest assured your name will be on the guest list when you arrive and someone from the Unicorn Squad will be checking you in. No need to pull up anything on your phone (personally hate doing that!)!
